2024: For 2024 the tournament was recalibrated to only include swordfish. This gave us an opportunity to imagine what it looks like a thousand feet below the surface. A landscape of desolate drop offs and cliff faces are painted behind the swordfish as he swipes at a dangling squid.
2023: 2023 was the first year that the tournament became open to other species. Yellowtail, bluefin tuna, dorado, and striped marlin were all included.
